Excellent for clients who cannot tolerate deep tissue work, such as those with fibromyalgia. The heat of the stones allow the muscle and fascia to open up and release tension and restrictions without aggressive deep tissue techniques. This is good news for you and your clients.

The workshop will touch on the background and theory of hot stone massage; as well as detailing the specific how-to of the stone massage training.

You will also learn about cold stones and how effective they are therapeutically.

• Detailed videos showing the full body massage basics using the stones.

• Log sheet for easy recording

CEU’s

For those registered with the CMTO, Hot Stone is a approved modality for Category A.

As with ALL CEU’s 2 hours = 1 CEU

Average Log = 15 CEU’s

– The log sheet will allow you to easily track your hours spent learning and practising this technique.

You will be required to submit 5 case studies and an exam prior to receiving your certificate. (don’t over think it, it is meant to be easy ? )

Requirements for Class

One set of stones (50+) and One hot stone massage heater per pair of students
One set of massage sheets including headrest cover
One blanket and pillow
Massage Oil or Gel – preferably not scented
Any snacks or water you require.
